Asnuntuck Community College’s Women’s Leadership Institute and Ann Gowdey Consulting, LLC are proud to announce that the Institute’s flagship program, Launch Your Leadership Journey, (LYLJ), is now available to women students at Asnuntuck, Tunxis, and Northwestern Connecticut Community Colleges.
ADAPTING TO THE PANDEMIC
Since the Covid 19 pandemic began, LYLJ has been successfully delivered virtually at two colleges. Using a blended learning design created by Ann Gowdey Consulting, LLC, Virtual Launch Your Leadership Journey has retained its experiential design, its ability to significantly impact students’ leadership development, and to create a communal environment where the students bond as a sisterhood.

Asnuntuck Community College’s Women’s Leadership Institute and Ann Gowdey Consulting, LLC are proud to partner with two outstanding CT organizations to offer LYLJ graduates opportunities to continue developing their skills to lead business, non-profit and community organizations and to learn to navigate the political arena to lead social change.
THE HUMPHREYS INSTITUTE FOR POLITICAL SOCIAL WORK AT THE UCONN SCHOOL OF SCIAL WORK
Ann Gowdey Consulting, LLC and Asnuntuck Community College’s Women’s Leadership Institute have formed a partnership with The Humphreys Institute for Political Social Work. Through this partnership, The Humphreys Institute offers graduates of LYLJ reduced tuition to its annual Campaign School, where LYLJ graduates receive training to advance social policy and advocate for social justice through participation in the political system. LEADERSHIP GREATER HARTFORD
The long-running partnership between Ann Gowdey Consulting, LLC, Asnuntuck Community College and Leadership Greater Hartford continues to offer LYLJ mid-career graduates free, one-year memberships. By participating in the exceptional leadership development experiences at LGH and networking with other LGH members, LYLJ mid-career graduates continue their quest to become leaders in their communities and in their careers.
